Darrell's educational journey saw him attend Cass Technical High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He continued his academic pursuits at the University of Michigan, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Public Health. It was during his time at university that Darrell honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the importance of effective leadership and community engagement. Driven by a profound commitment to empowering youth, Darrell is deeply passionate about ensuring they have the support and resources needed to thrive and become the best versions of themselves. He has a deep passion for education equity, primarily underscored by his experience as a first-generation immigrant and secondly by various teaching roles he has held throughout the K-12 spectrum. These experiences fortified his outlook on the importance of access to quality education and a supportive ecosystem to nurture students to pursue their goals. His entrepreneurial mindset led him to the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business where he graduated with his Bachelors of Business Administration. It was there that he cultivated his goal of impacting the world through positive business and believes organizations have a role to play in improving the economic and social standing of the communities they serve. Kingsley believes in active community engagement as a methodology to empower the next generation of young leaders with the necessary skills, resources, and mindset to achieve their goals and impact their communities.
