Building Successful Bridges was founded in 2016 by a group of 10 black men at the University of Michigan, their freshman year during the Fall Semester. "We came to campus and realized that we were not just behind academically, but also in - Untaught pre-career skills. We did not know the importance of networking and or having a an elvator pitch to help us. We realized that we all had a calling in our lives and wanted to reach back to the community we just left from and continue to bring up the next. "
